LittleBigPlanet Hub, a new free-to-play service based on the series for PlayStation 3, will launch later this year, Sony announced at its Gamescom 2013 press conference.
Similar to the games, the hub will encourage players to create and explore. According to a video shown during the presentation, the service will allow players to game with others and give them access to a "jam-packed" wardrobe, which they can then share with friends or purchase. Players will also be able to create and compete in different challenges. The service will also allow users to create and share their own levels.
