Resogun coming to PS4 from Housemarque

Super Stardust developer Housemarque is working on a PlayStation 4 shooter called Resogun, Sony Worldwide Studios Europe president Michael Denny announced during Sony's Gamescom 2013 press briefing today.

Denny debuted a trailer for the side-scrolling shooter, saying it will deliver "addictive, challenging gameplay, and of course, massive explosions to match." The footage in the trailer seemed to share the busy visual style of Super Stardust and the dark look of Housemarque's most recent game, Outland.

Update: We now have the aforementioned trailer, in addition to five screenshots. Check them out below. According to a press release from Sony, Resogun will run in 60 frames per second.
