Max: The Curse of Brotherhood delayed until early 2014

Press Play's 2.5D side-scrolling platformer sequel to Max and the Magic Marker, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, will see a release on Xbox 360 and Xbox One in early 2014, the developers announced today.

Shown off during E3 2013, The Curse of Brotherhood was tentatively announced for a release on Xbox Live Arcade with no launch date provided. The title was confirmed for Xbox One earlier this month. According to the blog post, development of The Curse of Brotherhood is almost completed on the Xbox 360 and the team is currently working on bringing the title to Xbox One. The next-gen version will be shown in the next few months.

In The Curse of Brotherhood, players use a magic marker to draw five materials — earth pillars, branches, vines, fire and water streams — and combine them to solve puzzles. For more information about the title's gameplay, be sure to read our hands-on preview from E3 2013.
