Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag live-action trailer urges you to defy

The Assassin's Creed series is partly about standing up to authority, and that's the theme of a new live-action trailer from Ubisoft for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

Called "Defy," the two-minute video takes place on a ship being attacked and set ablaze by pirates. And our purported hero, the Assassin Edward Kenway, takes a perch at the top of the main mast before diving off in the game.

"We all have a choice," says the narrator. "To stand, not kneel. To oppose, not obey. To live, not just exist."

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag launches Oct. 29 on Windows PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U; Nov. 15 on PlayStation 4; and at launch on Xbox One.
