Populous and Red Alert 3 added to EA's Humble Origin Bundle

Electronic Arts' Humble Origin Bundle now features two more games to sweeten the already sweet pay-what-you-want deal for a bundle of Windows PC games. Starting today, Humble Origin Bundle buyers who pay more than the average purchase price — currently around $4.80 — will get access to real-time strategy game Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Uprising and god game Populous.

The bundle previously included PC versions of Dead Space, Dead Space 3, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Mirror's Edge, Crysis 2 Maximum Edition and Medal of Honor — and for those who kicked in more than the average, The Sims 3 Starter Pack and Battlefield 3.

The EA-backed Humble Bundle provides buyers with Steam or Origin keys, depending upon the game. Populous is only available on Origin as part of the bundle, while Red Alert 3 is available through Steam or Origin.

Proceeds from the sale of the Humble Origin Bundle go to six charities: Human Rights Campaign, Watsi, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, American Red Cross, GamesAid and the American Cancer Society.

Sales of the bundle have passed $8.3 million since it launched on Aug. 14.
