Castlevania: Symphony of the Night completed in less than 19 minutes

The newest speedrun world record for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night clocks in at 18 minutes and 20 seconds.

YouTube user and Speed Demos archive member romscout posted a video of the run. According to romscout, the record was set Aug. 22 with the Xbox Live Arcade edition of the game. Romscout completed the run using "any %" rules, meaning that glitches and any other means necessary are fair game.
