Capcom's upcoming Nintendo 3DS title Monster Hunter 4 won't be heading to PlayStation Vita anytime soon, chief operating officer Haruhiro Tsujimoto recently told Mainichi Shinbun Digital.
During the interview, translated by Siliconera, Tsujimoto said there are "no [plans] for now," to port the title.
"While planning out game content, we will develop and judge which hardware is the most suitable," Tsujimoto said. "However, for the sake of the players, having it be a multi-development is the most ideal ... We want to have as many people as possible play it on the 3DS, and we are only thinking about making it succeed."
Monster Hunter 4 is currently slated for release Sept. 14 in Japan. A North American release date has not been announced.
