The Call of Duty Endowment is partnering with consulting firm Deloitte to create the Seal of Distinction, an award commemorating successful and effective non-profit organizations that help veterans find jobs, Activision announced today.
The Call of Duty Endowment is a private, non-profit organization focused on assisting groups that place former military members in high quality jobs. Organizations that receive the Call of Duty Endowment Seal of Distinction will be given a $30,000 unrestricted grant towards their efforts, as well as the possibility of receiving more, restricted grants in the future.
The first recipient of the Seal is the U.S. Chamber Foundation in Washington, DC. Organizations can apply for the Seal of Distinction until Sept. 27.
"Our goal at the Endowment is to invest in groups that have demonstrated exceptional effectiveness at placing veterans into high quality careers," said Call of Duty Endowment executive director Dan Goldenberg in a press statement. "Our new Seal of Distinction opens the door to give the best organizations an opportunity to showcase their success and access more resources."
