Azurite Blue PS3 coming exclusively to GameStop Oct. 8

The PlayStation 3 will be available in a new color for North America, Azurite Blue, exclusively at GameStop starting Oct. 8, Sony announced today at the 2013 GameStop Conference.

The blue console, which will be sold for $249.99, will feature a 250 GB hard drive and come with a DualShock 3 of the same color. It will be available only at GameStop in the U.S. and EB Games in Canada. Sony previously released the Azurite Blue PS3 in Japan, Europe and Australia.

According to GameStop, the new unit will be available for a limited time. Customers will be able to pre-order it in stores and online as of tomorrow.
