Wargaming bringing World of Tanks: Xbox 360 to PAX Prime

PAX Prime attendees will be able to go hands-on with the latest World of Warplanes update and World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition this weekend, developer Wargaming announced today.

Wargaming will set up more 30 gaming stations for players to test drive World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition and its U.S and Germany Tier 7 and 8 heavy tanks, as well as the 0.5.1 Update for aerial combat MMO World of Warplanes. In the latter, players will be able to test fly high-powered early model jets and 10 new Soviet Yak aircraft, play through two new tutorial levels and try out the latest balance tweaks and crew skills on new maps.

Players who complete the demos will score limited edition Wargaming swag including aviators, bandanas and dogtag bottle openers. Every hour each day of the expo, Wargaming will raffle off gaming hardware, including flightsticks, headsets, keyboards and mice and even consoles. The company will also be giving away a limited number of tokens at both the Wargaming and Microsoft booths that will grant holders access to the World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition beta.

PAX Prime will take place Aug. 30 through Sept. 2 in Seattle. Polygon will be in attendance providing coverage of the show throughout the weekend.
