Fire Emblem developer behind Nintendo's rhythm game Jam With the Band

The latest title in Nintendo's Jam With the Band rhythm-action series for the Nintendo 3DS, Daigasso Band Bros. P, is being developed by Fire Emblem Awakening developer Intelligent Systems, according to a teaser website.

Announced during a Nintendo Direct earlier this month, the latest Jam With the Band features 72 instruments and allows gamers to import a photo of themselves onto a Mii using the systems camera. According to the website, players will be create their own Vocaloid using Yamaha's synthesizer software, which uses the system's microphone. The software is featured in vocaloid rhythm games such as Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F and Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2.

Developed by Nintendo, Daigasso! Band Brothers was released in Japan 2004 and in Europe in 2005 for the DS. Its sequel, Daigasso! Band Brothers DX, launched in Japan in 2008 for the DS and in Europe as Jam With the Band in 2010.
