Free-to-play shooter Warface coming to Xbox 360 in early 2014

Warface, the free-to-play first-person shooter from Crytek, will be available on Xbox 360 in early 2014, the studio announced today with a new trailer on IGN.

Although the game itself will be free-to-play, an Xbox Live Gold account will be required to access it. Crytek has been running closed beta testing of Warface all year long, and it will be released later this year on Windows PC in North America and Europe.

Interested parties can sign up for a newsletter on the Warface website if they want to keep apprised of updates on the Xbox 360 version of the game. For more on the class-based shooter, check out our story from Gamescom on why Crytek is sticking with the name Warface.
