Hidden object game Dark Manor arrives as free-to-play

Seek-and-find adventure Dark Manor: A Hidden Object Mystery has been launched by publisher Big Fish as a free-to-play,.

Originally launched for iOS the ghostly game is set in New Orleans in the 1920s. The player inherits a spooky great house, and must track down local ghouls, solving mysteries along the way. Big Fish has introduced day-and-night modes as well as a hi-resolution zoom option and parallax-scrolling environments. Players can also persistent-save across iOS and Windows.

"Dark Manor is the most beautifully crafted hidden object game to hit casual gamers to date," stated the company's promotional pitch. "It fuses hidden object challenges with strategic simulated world creation, encouraging players to beautify their manor in order to get access to more gameplay."
