The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker trailer contrasts Hero Mode against Normal

The latest trailer for Nintendo's HD remake of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker for Wii U runs players through the differences between the game's Normal Mode and Hero Modes.

The Hero Mode offers players harder gameplay than the original. As highlighted in our hands-on preview with both modes, enemies in Hero Mode deal double damage and the environment contains zero hearts. Health can only be regained either through potions or encounters with fairies.

A limited edition Nintendo Wii U hardware bundle featuring The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will go on sale Sept. 20 for $299.99. It consists of a black Deluxe Wii U console, a Hyrule crest-adorned GamePad controller, a download code for The Wind Waker HD and a digital copy of Hyrule Historia.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD will launch for the Wii U in October.
