Blind Ambition, the first of two Machinima-produced League of Legends short films debuting today focuses on the history of Lee Sin, the Blind Monk.
Once an ambitious young summoner, Lee Sin was eager to progress beyond his studies and move on to controlling the champions who fought in the League of Legends. Those in charge of the Institute of War, however, felt he was not yet experienced enough to fully join the League. To prove his skill, the adept student attempted to summon a champion of his own, despite never having done it before.
To say the least, the summoning doesn't go as planned.
Now without his eyesight, Lee Sin follows a different path as a combatant in the League rather than a summoner. He takes to the Fields of Justice, where he encounters a deadly foe: the Noxian assassin, Katarina.
Blind Ambition comes from Harry and George Kirby, UK-based filmmakers who first drew attention with their live-action take on Dragon Ball Z. The second of their two League of Legends films, Shadowfall, will premiere later today at 2 PM Eastern / 11 AM Pacific.
