The developer and publisher announced today that Teknopants Ltd.'s Samurai Gunn and Spry Fox's Road Not Taken will launch on PS4 and PS Vita, and the two-button fighting game Divekick will be released on PS4 as a console launch title in November. Hitbox Team's 2D "sweep-'em-up" platformer, Dustforce, will launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita, with pricing and release date information expected in the near future.
Sony also announced today at its showcase that Double Fine Productions will be creating downloadable content for PlayStation 4's The Playroom, which is the PS4's AR game collection. No further details were revealed about the nature of the content.
During Gamescom, it was announced that Gearbox Software's vault-hunting shooter Borderlands 2 will ship on the PS Vita in 2014. Terry Cavanagh's VVVVVV will also be coming to the Vita, although a release window was not announced. Publisher Nicalis had teased the possibility of VVVVVV coming to PS Vita in a tweet earlier this month.
