In a new cinematic trailer for Splinter Cell: Blacklist, a group called the Engineers holds the world in terror with countdowns for its attacks.
"You don't realize it yet," drones a heavily distorted voice, "but you are fighting a new kind of war. And you are losing." With simultaneous attacks on oil and gas refineries, the Engineers aim to bring America's military machine to its knees. Experienced Fourth Echelon operative Sam Fisher must do his part to find the operators of the Blacklist and stop them.
As the ending of the trailer shows, however, things don't always go Sam's way.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist hits Windows PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on August 20.
