Former WWE champion John "Bradshaw" Layfield, also known by his ring name JBL, announced that he would be a playable character in the upcoming WWE 2K14 in a video shot near the summit Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps.
With his inclusion alongside champions like Steve Austin and the Rock, says Layfield, WWE 2K14 now has the most legendary pro-wrestling roster of all time.
In July, Polygon went hands-on with WWE 2K14 to see how the wrestling series was faring in the transition from its old publisher THQ to its new owners 2K. We found the changes gradual and iterative, improving on the quicker gameplay introduced in WWE '13 as THQ foundered financially.
WWE 2K14 will hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 29.
