Knights of Pen and Paper developer Behold Studios successfully reached its Kickstarter funding goal for its simulation/turn-based strategy game called Chroma Squad.
The campaign, which launched late last month with a funding goal of $55,000, raised $62,003 in pledges with 15 days remaining. If the funding drive reaches $80,000, extra episodes will be added to the campaign mode, allowing users to play as a "lonely hero inspired by riders."
Chroma Squad places the player in the role of a sentai television studio manager, casting actors and stuntmen, hiring crew and purchasing equipment to produce a Power Rangers-esque TV show. The game also allows players to control a cast of five action stars in turn-based battles.
The Brazil-based studio tentatively scheduled the game for launch in Dec. 2013 for Windows PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and "possibly" on Ouya, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more about Behold, check out our interview with the team.
