Ace Attorney art director guest of honor at Japan Expo, 1st Impact

The art director of Ace Attorney series Tatsuro Iwamoto will be the Video Game Guest of Honor at the upcoming Japan Expo, 1st Impact, the event's organisers announced recently.

The event will also feature video game composer Noriyuki Iwadare as a guest of honor. As well as composing music for the Ace Attorney titles, Iwadare has created music for numerous video games, including Wing Commander, Kid Icarus: Uprising and Grandia Xtreme.

Japan Expo, 1st Impact will take place in Santa Clara, California from Aug. 23-25. Founded in 1999 in Europe, this year marks the first time the Japanese popular culture event will take place in North America. One-day passes start from $20, three-day passes are $50 and premium tickets are $100. More information about the expo's schedule and ticketing is located on its official site.
