Squids Odyssey launching for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U this fall

The Game Bakers will release action role-playing game Squids Odyssey on Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U eShop this fall, the developer announced.

In Squids Odyssey, players recruit a team in order to save the ocean from an infectious black ooze. Squid squad mates come in four different classes: shooters, troopers, scouts and healers.

Previous Squids titles have launched for Windows PC, Mac and mobile devices. Odyssey "takes the first two episodes in the oceanic saga" and combines them; the game will also feature new mechanics for the Wii U GamePad and 3DS.

A specific release date and price have not yet been announced.
