Housemarque, the Dead Nation and Outland developer, plans to unveil news at Gamescom 2013 about one of the two PlayStation 4 titles it is currently developing.
In response to a question on Twitter about whether it plans on announcing PlayStation 4 news at Gamescom, Housemarque's official Twitter account responded with an affirmative. In May, the studio announced it is working on a PlayStation 4-exclusive spiritual successor to shoot-'em-up franchise Super Stardust, along with another unannounced title for the platform. According to the developers, news on only one of the titles will be revealed during the event.
Previously known as Bloodhouse, Housemarque developed Super Stardust in 1994 for the Amiga and Amiga CD32 systems. Super Stardust HD launched for the PlayStation 3 and PSP platforms in 2007 and 2008, respectively, with sequel Super Stardust Delta hitting the PS Vita in February, 2012.
Gamescom 2013 will take place Aug. 21-25 in Cologne, Germany. Polygon will be there to bring you all the news from EA, Nintendo, Microsoft, Bethesda and more.
