EA Sports developing free-to-play soccer game for PC

FIFA World, a free-to-play downloadable soccer game for PC is scheduled to hit to Brazil and Russia this November, EA Sports announced today.

Catering to those in the two regions who don't game on a console, FIFA World will feature FIFA Ultimate Team and Seasons, along with more than 30 official leagues and more than 600 clubs. The Russian Football Premier League is included amongst the 30 leagues, as well as the 19 officially licensed Brazilian clubs that were recently announced for FIFA 14.

"Brazil and Russia are priority markets for EA Sports and especially our FIFA brand. We are excited to bring to these markets a custom-built, free-to-play PC experience developed around FIFA Ultimate Team," EA Sports' senior vice president and group general manager Matt Bilbey said in a statement.

EA Sports' FIFA Online 3, another free-to-play online soccer game, is already live Korea and is slated to launch in Southeast Asia and mainland China at a future date.
