Total War: Rome 2 dev diary showcases battle AI on highest difficulty

The Creative Assembly has shared a new video demonstrating how army AI behaves in skirmish battles for Total War: Rome 2.

In the video posted above, The Creative Assembly's studio communications Manager Al Bickham demonstrates a heated battle between the forces of Macedonia and Rome in the game's Very Hard difficulty mode. In this mode, AI will become more aggressive and will rise up to players' charge, becoming harder to take down and attacking relentlessly.

Watch from behind the lines of defense as the enemy barrages the troops, and learn what abilities and strategies can be used to whittle down the enemy before taking up the offense.

Total War: Rome 2 will launch on Sept. 3 for Windows PC.
