A new trailer for Ubisoft's Splinter Cell: Blacklist is a comprehensive introduction to everything about the upcoming stealth action game.
The trailer gives an overview of the plot, where a mysterious group called the Engineers plans to stage terrorist attacks every seven days, and introduces the supporting cast like CIA operative Isaac Briggs. It also reintroduces Sam's three potential ways to approach a mission: As an undetected, non-lethal Ghost, a silent but deadly Panther or on a straight-up Assault.
The trailer also looks at the multiplayer modes, from the co-op maps co-starring agent Briggs to the head-to-head "Spies vs. Mercs," which comes in both Classic and Blacklist flavors.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist hits Xbox 360, Windows PC, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on Aug. 20.
