Rocksmith 2014 video details compatibility, DLC and more

Rocksmith community developer Mike Madavi took to Ubisoft's official YouTube channel today to answer player questions about Rocksmith 2014 Edition, the upcoming second installment in the developer's real instrument rhythm game franchise.

You can watch the video above to learn about backwards compatibility with the original Rocksmith, using your own pedals like Jerry Cantrell and whether you can sync content between consoles.

Rocksmith 2014 Edition is set for an Oct. 18 release on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Check out our coverage from last week to learn how Ubisoft San Francisco designed the game to be a "fully responsive personal teacher."
