Kerbal Space Progam's Update 0.22 has been announced featuring a new Research and Development system.
The space exploration simulation's forthcoming update features an R&D center that allows players to explore and unlock a 42-item tech tree offering engineering parts for missions. KSP's tech tree is unlocked through scientific data-gathering missions using various parts throughout the solar system, including a new science base that can be used for manned experiments.
Players can also save entire sections of space planes and rockets for future use, without breaking down vehicles. Kerbal Space Program is created by Mexico City-based developer Squad.
