In the wake of the event today in which Apple unveiled two new iPhone models, the company released the gold master of its mobile operating system, iOS 7, to developers, according to an email from Apple obtained by Polygon.
The iOS GM Seed represents the final product that will be released to the public Sept. 18 for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
"To prepare your apps for the App Store, download the GM seed of iOS 7 and Xcode 5, test, and optimize for iOS 7," the email reads. "Submit your apps today."
