YouTube user MediocreJake constructed the original region of Pokemon, Kanto, within the blocky world of Minecraft.
His recreated world includes everything from Pallet Town to Indigo Plateau. Locations counted as "interiors," such as Victory Road, the SS Anne and Rock Tunnel, will take up a separate portion of the map and require warps to access. According to his video, the project took 40 hours of planning, 120 hours to build and 50 GB of space. Check out MediocreJake's building process — condensed into just under 10 minutes — above.
MediocreJake also plans to recreate the Johto region once Kanto his finished, according to his post on Reddit.
