With special screenings of the 1989 animation and an iPad app, Disney is set to launch The Little Mermaid Second Screen Live on Sept. 13, allowing viewers to play games and interact with the movie in the theatre.
Through the combination of the app and movie screenings, audience members will be able to play games and interact with the animation using the iPad. Audience members can partake in such activities like finding hidden treasure, taking part in sing-a-longs and compete with other movie goers. The Little Mermaid will be showing at select theatres across the nation.
