Demos of Diablo 3's PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions are now available on the respective platforms, according to an update on Battle.net.
Demos on both platforms allows users to play Diablo 3 for free up to the Skeleton King in Act I. The full game launched in the U.S., Canada, Spanish-speaking Latin America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand on Sept. 3 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The console version of Diablo 3 is expected to launch on Sony's next-gen console, the PlayStation 4, in 2014.
In an interview with Polygon during the Gamescom conference in Germany, game director Josh Mosqueira hinted that the PC expansion for Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls may see a release on consoles. The expansion, touted as a "feature-rich expansion," introduces the new Crusader class, increases level cap to 70, a new act and new reigning enemy Malthael.
