Timesplitters Rewind comes to Steam Greenlight

Timesplitters Rewind, a community-driven multiplayer remake of the Timesplitter series, has hit Steam Greenlight in an attempt to gain feedback and interest from users.

This follows its initial announcement as an in-development PlayStation 4 title earlier in the month. The game is being worked on by Pantheonyx with the blessing from original series creator Crytek. Legal issues are requiring the team to recreate all assets from scratch and eventually sell the game for free once it launches.

A public pre-alpha test is expected this December with a number of maps and character models ready to play. In the meantime, you can give feedback on the game right here.
