Leading up to Xbox One's launch, Microsoft spokesperson Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb will be touring New England to Arizona and through to Canada as part of the Xbox One Tour: Road to Launch.

The tour offers the community a chance to get hands-on with the next-generation console and a selection of its games lineup before the console launches Nov. 22. Each event will also include giveaways.

The first event will be held at the Microsoft Retail Store in the Burlington Mall on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m., in conjunction with the store's grand opening. Attendees will be able to get hands-on with games such as Forza 5 Motorsport and Killer Instinct, as well as the opportunity to play Killer Instinct on a classic arcade cabinet. In addition, visitors to the store during the event will receive $25 to $75 off a purchase, excluding Surface, Surface accessories, Xbox One and Xbox One accessories
