The Helm's Deep expansion to Turbine's massively multiplayer online role-playing game Lord of the Rings Online is set for a Nov. 18 release and available for pre-order now, the developer announced today.
The expansion, which was announced in April, will increase the level cap from 85 to 95, but players can fight to defend Helm's Deep against Saruman's forces as early as level 10. Helm's Deep will also allow players to explore new territory, including Dunharrow, Edoras, the fortress of the Hornburg within Helm's Deep and the Westemnet of Rohan.
Two pre-order packages are available. The $59.99 Premium Edition includes:
- Armour of the Hammerhand, an exclusive full set of Rohirrim cosmetic armor
- 10 quest log slots
- Crystal of Remembrance, which adds one additional legacy to your legendary weapon
- Helm's Deep Title, Helm's Enforcer
- Helm's Deep Title, Helm's Avenger
- 2,000 Turbine points
- Shield of the Hammerhand (Statted Cloak +25 percent XP, scales to level of wearer, available immediately)
- Exclusive War-steed Bundle, The Steed of the Hammerhand, an exclusive Rohirrim mount with matching War-Steed appearance (available immediately)
The $39.99 Base Edition includes:
- Hauberk of the Hammerhand, an exclusive Rohirrim cosmetic chest piece
- Helm's Deep Title: Helm's Enforcer
- 1,000 Turbine points
- Token of Hornburg (+25 percent Monster XP, available immediately)
- The Steed of the Hammerhand. an exclusive Rohirrim Mount (available immediately)
