Montague's Mount, the debut game from one-man Irish indie developer PolyPusher Studios, will be available Oct. 9 on Windows PC, Mac and Linux with Oculus Rift support, publisher Mastertronic announced today.
A suspenseful thriller, Montague's Mount is a first-person exploration and puzzle game set on a desolate Irish island. The protagonist washes ashore with no memory and must traverse the island to figure out who he is.
Ireland's culture is featured heavily in the game, which contains copious amounts of Irish Gaelic that will be translated — with subtitles as well as full audio localization — into English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish and Russian.
Montague's Mount will be sold through GOG.com, Get Games and GamersGate. It is available for voting on Steam Greenlight. Mastertronic released nearly 12 minutes of narrated gameplay footage today; you can watch it below and see 21 screenshots above.
