Fable Anniversary, the high-definition remake of Lionhead Studios' original Fable, will be delayed until February 2014, according to a post by the studio's Ted Timmins.
This delay is a few months past the game's was originally expected launch this holiday season for Xbox 360. Fable Anniversary will, however, be available on shelves and online through Xbox Games Store come next year, says Timmins.
"It's not easy making these decisions and I know that us asking you to wait a little longer whilst we get to play test the game every day is downright unfair, so over the next few weeks we're going to be sharing with you more screenshots, more game footage and perhaps even some... top secret announcements!" reads the official blog post.
The team plans its first Lionhead Twitter Takeover today from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST to answer questions.
