A Game of Thrones fan by the name of Abel Alves created an 8-bit platformer featuring Tyrion Lannister, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen as playable characters, Wired reports.
Game of Thrones: The 8-bit Game took Alves three months to complete and was creating using Arcade Games Studio. All pixel art was done by Carl Olsson, and Alves used 8-bit covers of some of the show's music from Floating Point. Alves told Wired that Game of Thrones was a perfect choice because it "has a universe very easily adaptable to a platform game."
"My favorite characters are all Lannisters and Starks (I love Arya, Tyrion and the Kingslayer), but I had to choose characters that have some action in the series," Alves told Wired. "As much as I like Sansa, for example, I think it could not make a stage for her."
