Maurice Guégan of Stabyourself.net collected and combined 974 time trial runs of Super Mario Bros. recorded during Gamescom 2013.
The result is the video above, which stacks Marios on top of each other like Solitaire cards. According to the video's YouTube description, the best run clocked in at 41.32 seconds. A three-second penalty was included for any player that died.
"We would've had more, but at some point getting the high score became really serious business so there were probably about 1,000 game resets after the first three jumps didn't work out," the post on Stabyourself.net reads.
