An hour-long livestream of Microsoft Studios' world-building game, Project Spark, offers a look at Kinect performance capture, gameplay and more.
Project Spark, announced at Microsoft's E3 press conference, will allow players to create their very own world from a blank slate. In the video, the development team demonstrates how players can incorporate unique animations — in this case, dancing — into a character's in-game actions. Other segments feature terrain editing, construction and world exploration.
Check out the video above to see the game in action. For more on Project Spark, read our interview with studio manager Saxs Persson or game designer Claude Jerome. Project Spark is expected to enter beta in October for Windows PC and January 2014 for Xbox One.
