Battlefield 4 multiplayer trailer examines the nuances of shooting people

A new video for EA DICE's Battlefield 4 gives an overview of the new features and maps in the upcoming military shooter.

The trailer shows previously-announced concepts like the Commander mode in action, calling down a missile strike from an eye-in-the-sky position. It also revisits the concept of "Levolution," ways in which levels dynamically change both large and small.

There will be ten different multiplayer maps at release, according to the trailer, and they include both cramped, close-quarter battles as well as sprawling open-world ones that highlight the Battlefield series' trademark vehicular combat.

Battlefield 4 hits Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC on Oct. 29, and will be a launch title for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
