Adventure game Lost Echo launching Sept. 27 on iOS

Lost Echo, the adventure game from KickBack Studios, will be released Sept. 27 on iOS, the developer announced today.

It will cost $2.99 in North America, £1.99 in the U.K. and €2.69 in Europe.

KickBack debuted Lost Echo with a trailer in July. The Greece-based studio has been working on the point-and-click adventure game for more than two years, although the two-person team at the company originally thought it would take about six months. "We [made] a lot of rookie mistakes, underestimating the time things need, overestimating our abilities to get things right the first time," said the developers. "But we never gave up."

Lost Echo is set in a near-future world and puts players in the shoes of a man named Greg. His girlfriend, Chloe, vanishes before his eyes, and he attempts to find out what happened to her. The game is focused on puzzles and exploration as Greg tries to figure out the mystery of Chloe's disappearance.
