Jaws terrifies the virtual space through text adventure game

Indie developer Matt Round's retro-inspired title, Jaws: The Text Adventure, allows you to cruise the ocean and munch on people as the titular shark from the safety of your browser.

According to Round, the game was developed "from scratch" in HTML5 and includes multiple endings and hidden references. Jaws operates with simple text commands. As you come into contact with people, animals and different items, you can chose to gobble them up or swim away. As you explore the ocean, the game also offers some soulful shark musings on the solitary life of a predator.
