Retailer Toys "R" Us revealed Microsoft's next-gen console, Xbox One, as the exclusive gaming console for its Fabulous 15 Hot Toys for Holiday 2013 today.
The Fabulous 15 list is a part of a 36-item guide for shoppers during the holiday season. Other featured items include dolls, action figures, digital learning pads and play sets. Although not included in the Fabulous 15, Sony's PlayStation 4 also made the retailer's Hot Toy list.
According to Toys "R" Us senior vice president and general merchandising manager Lisa Harnisch, items are selected for being "the toys that kids from all corners of every country" are most excited about. We've reached out to Toys "R" Us for comment and will update accordingly.
Xbox One will be available Nov. 22 for $499.99 and will include launch titles such as Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14 and Battlefield 4. Yesterday, Microsoft announced that the console will launch in Japan during 2014.
