Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will feature several major tweaks to the series' classic stealth and takedown mechanics, as shown in a new gameplay trailer unveiled during Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference.
In the video posted above, series creator Hideo Kojima narrates the gameplay, walking viewers through a stealth section of the Ground Zeroes prologue portion of the game. The footage is similar to a demo shown earlier this month at Kojima Productions' new Los Angeles studio.
Earlier this month Kojima shared that he asked the game's designers to make its main female character, the mute sniper Quiet, "more erotic" to encourage cosplayers to portray her. Kojima and series artist Yoji Shinkawa later told Polygon that Quiet wasn't necessarily supposed to be erotic, "but sexy."
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will launch for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One at an unannounced date.
