Following an initial ban against fan-made gameplay videos of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, Square Enix will now allow players to upload their footage onto YouTube without any problems, director and producer Naoki Yoshida announced during PAX Prime.
The publisher had previously attempting to seek out and block monetized gameplay videos of the game. Now, with the release of A Realm Reborn which offers a drastically changed version of the MMO, Yoshida told Destructoid: "We want players out telling the world how great our game is."
The game officially re-launched on Aug. 27 for Windows PC and PlayStation 3. Yoshida announced last month that Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn will launch on PlayStation 4 in 2014, allowing players to transfer data from the PlayStation 3.
