Deception 4: Blood Ties and Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk for PlayStation 3 and Toukiden: the Age of Demons for the PlayStation Vita will arrive in Europe and Australia early 2014, Tecmo Koei Europe announced today.
Toukiden: the Age of Demons features character customisation, six non-player characters (designed by Atelier Ayesha artist Hidari), and six different upgradeable weapon types. According to development producer Kenichi Ogasawara, Toukiden's concept came from Tecmo Koei's desire to tackle the popular hunting action genre. Toukiden: the Age of Demons was originally announced at last year's Tokyo Game Show. It was released in Japan in June 27 and is slated for a 2013 Q4 launch in North America.
Role-playing game Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky's storyline picks up where its direct sequel Atelier Ayesha finished. The game features two playable protagonists because, according to director Yoshito Okamura, they wanted to give players a "sense of surprise." The game initially released in Japan on June 27 and is scheduled for a 2014 launch in North America.
Revealed earlier today, Deception 4: Blood Ties, the reimanging of the 1996 PlayStation game Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness, is in development for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
Specific launch dates for the three titles in European, North American and Australian regions were not revealed.
