The update will feature an improved armoury where players can build filters and navigate by item type, quality, rarity and more. A new game mode called Captains Draft, that randomly selects 8 str, 8 agi and 8 int heroes for both teams to select from, will also rollout with the update.

Mac and Linux versions of Dota 2 will receive a list of improvements and fixes. The full list of changes and fixes scheduled for Dota 2 across hero builds, audio, visual, technical, community, UI and gameplay aspects can be viewed in full on the game's official website.

Dota 2 came out of its extended beta and officially released on Steam for Windows PC on Jul 9 and later saw a release on Linux and Mac on Jul 19.
