A launch trailer for the HD remaster of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker introduces the world and characters of the GameCube adventure.
When young island-dwelling Link's sister is captured by a giant bird, he joins up with pirate captain Tetra and her crew to track her down. In his journey he meets a talking ship and finds out that there's more to this story than just an aggressive bird looking for a snack. For those who haven't played the game, we'll refrain from spoiling it, but the trailer itself gives away plenty on its own.
In Polygon's review, we found that Wind Waker HD was the "definitive version of a modern classic."
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is available today via digital download, and will hit retail on Oct. 4.
