Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’s Uprising DLC free to try this weekend

Uprising, a downloadable multiplayer map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, is available to try for free this weekend via Xbox Live, One of Swords announced.

Players will be able to test out four new maps. Magma is set in a modern Japanese village overtaken by lava, while Encore takes place in an amphitheater following a London music festival. The Vertigo map is set on a Tacitus skyscraper in India, and Studio players will get to explore a Hollywood reinvention of old level Firing Range. The DLC also adds Mob of the Dead — a new zombie mode set in Alcatraz. Anyone who jumps on this weekend will also receive double experience.

Uprising launched in April for Xbox 360 and May for PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. The pack is currently available for $14.99.
