RetroN 5, Hyperkin's console designed to play games for NES, SNES, Genesis and GBA cartridges, will now launch Dec. 10, the company announced via press release.
The system was originally expected to launch Oct. 31 — a date the company is now calling a "placeholder." According to the announcement, the delay is due to "key modifications" to the console. The system will include five cartridge slots, two controller ports for each console and two Bluetooth controllers. In addition to the aforementioned systems, it will be compatible with games originally available on Sega Genesis, Mega Drive, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Famicom and Super Famicom.
RetroN will be available for $99.99 in the U.S. and €89.99 in the U.K. Hyperkin began accepting pre-orders earlier this month.
